The Basilica opens at 14:00 on Sundays and public holidays, but we could not check each holiday date, and hours may follow the liturgical calendar at Christmas and on 8 December. The Today box on this site only applies the Sunday rule: for a holiday, check the official site.
The Campanile has its own ticket. The two official pages we read disagree on the last entry, so we give only the closing time, 19:15 in winter and 21:15 in summer, and an indication that the last entry is about 45 to 60 minutes earlier. Opening hours may vary with events, the month and bad weather.
The Procuratoria offers visits of the illuminated Basilica and Crypt in the evening, between about 19:30 or 20:00 and 21:30 or 22:00, in slots of one hour and only with a guide. They are booked per group.
